I was living in Texas when I met my husband on an online dating site. He lived in Washington State. We communicated for a year before I quit my job and closed my apartment. I didn't have any confidence in me driving from Texas to Washington State so I found a place to store my car and what belongings I didn't take with me. So I left Texas on June 20th, 2009. In August of 2009, my husband's grandma and I took a greyhound bus to pick up my car. We arrived in Texas on a Saturday and stayed with my family over the weekend then headed back home to Washington on Monday. On the way, we decided to stay overnight in Colorado before continuing our journey. We took our time going home since my grandmother and I was taking turns driving. We only stayed overnight once and the rest I drove through the night while gram slept. So we stayed overnight at the first nice hotel we came to as soon as we exit the freeway. It was fun. The next morning we decided to visit the Garden of the Gods before continuing our journey. It was worth the visit.
