DIY: Facial Products

This past year, I decided that I wanted to make my own facial products. This way I know what ingredients are in the products that I use on my face. So of course, like everyone else, I needed to do research since I didn't how to make any of the facial products that I wanted to use. While researching, I came across several recipes that use apple cider vinegar, coconut oil and other items that I have in my cupboards. I was amazed that you could use coconut oil or apple cider vinegar on your face. I found several recipes for each product that I wanted to make so I could try out different ones to see which one fits my face. So in this article, I have the ones that I use as well as some that I intend to try in the future. I hope this article was helpful.

Face Cleanser

1/2 cup water

1 tsp white distilled vinegar

Place water and vinegar in a bottle or jar. Pour some on a washcloth or cotton pad and wash face. Rinse off with cold water. Pat face dry.

If you have oily skin like me, then try this cleanser.

3 TBSP Organic Coconut Oil

1tsp Raw Honey

1 tsp Baking Soda

In a bowl combine all three ingredients and mix well. Pour into a container. Store at room temperature.

In a bottle, combine one part apple cider vinegar to two-part water. Apply to face by putting the toner on a cotton pad and wipe your face.

My Morning and Evening Facial Ritual

In the morning, I do the following:

1) Cleanse my face with a face cleanser that I make

In the evening, I do the following:
