The recipes are easy to follow and understand. They are well organized with a colorful picture included with each recipe. Under each recipe name, there is an organized list of ingredients followed by instructions that are numbered so that we know what order to do it. At the end of the instructions, there is information on the recipe like Yield, Calories, Protein, Net Carbs and Fat. Each recipe looks like this:

I tested the Cabbage with Bacon Recipe. This recipe was easy to make. The instructions were easy to follow. I made it for supper for my family and me. We all loved it. I followed the instructions except that the recipe said 4 pieces of bacon, I had to use more since my bacon was too small. But other than that the recipe was easy to follow. I picked this recipe because it was the only one that I had all the ingredients for. When I first read the recipe, I thought that it wouldn't be enough for four people but I was wrong because we still had some leftovers. It was good.

Cabbage with Bacon:

Ingredients

4 bacon slices

2 c shredded cabbage

To Taste: Salt

Directions

1. Place the cabbage in a pot with just enough water to cover. Boil for five to seven minutes.

2. Prepare the bacon and break into bits.

3. Add the bacon and salt to the cabbage and serve.

Yields: 1 serving- 1 c. each

I would definitely recommend this book to other people. I think anyone who loves to cook and be healthy would love this book. These recipes are easy and simple. I think this recipe book would be for both the novice and seasoned cook. Some of these are easy and some more in depth. I believe that buying this book would be worth the price.
